Name : John Fisher
Date of Birth : 20th January 1963
John first started training in 1979 and took part in his first bodybuilding competition in 1981 at the NABBA South East Championships.
In 1982 he won the Junior British Championships and later went on to take second place at the Junior Mr. Universe in Spain.
After a succession of other wins, John qualified for the 1986 British Championships in the over 90kg class where he took 3rd place against stiff competition from Dorian Yates (1st) and Selwyn Cotterill (2nd). His impressive performance earnt him the title of 'The White Haney' by the commentators of the day.

John's training programme was based around 6 days on, 1 day off - with two sessions a day for three months prior to a competition. Only one bodypart would be trained in each session for maximum intensity.
The competition diet consisted of approximately 10 egg whites, 2lb chicken, baked potatoes, rice, salads and fruit everyday plus plenty of sleep !
